Dedicated to busting the many ham radio myths about antennas, antenna tuners and transmission lines. These myths are so pervasive they have become conventional thinking among many ham radio operators, perhaps the majority. I am now collaborating with a contemporary RF engineer in Belgium, Joeri Van Dooren, ON6URE who is now the source of much of the technical explanations in these videos and founder of the RF.GURU website and company. I'm a retired radio and TV broadcaster and was also licensed to operate, repair and maintain commercial radio and TV equipment. I'm currently a volunteer fill in news broadcaster at the local NPR station. I have been a ham operator since 1965.
